The proposal was to use the ground floor of the Community Centre as a Childcare Centre for 30 children.

The Childcare Centre complied with all the required standards of the District Plan with respect to site and building layout and design; parking, drop-off and access; and hours of operation:

30 children over 2 yrs
3 staff for over 2 yrs
Intended hours of operation: 7.00am to 5.00pm
Drop off & pickup times: 6.30am and 5.30pm
Time & types of outdoor activity: Over 2 yrs of age 10.30am to 11.45am and 3.30pm to 5.00pm
Dates & types of special events: maybe special functions, grand opening for later part of 2013 and parents evening twice year
