This new building is temporary while the existing dorm buildings are being renovated, thus no increase in number of resident students. On the site there are 272 boarders located within buildings. The School is one of New Zealand’s leading independent day and boarding secondary schools for Year 9-13 boys and Year 11-13 girls.

No connection to council water supply and sewerage is required, as this building will only be used for sleeping. Ablution, meals, studies, recreation will happen in other buildings on the campus.

The building sits on timber piles driven directly into the ground. This building will house 16 students.
