The proposal is to obtain resource consent for a new stand alone canopy (8.89mx8.11m).

The front portion of the site is already being used as out-door drinking and eating area, granted by Council. This canopy is not physically changing the structure of the Heritage item; the canopy will be a stand-alone structure and will enhance the outdoor area for patrons. It blends with the white fence and the white window and door frames of the Heritage item.
