How We Got a 150-Child Childcare Centre Approved Inside an Active Industrial Park

The Solution

We used an engineering-led approach to answer every concern before council could raise it. For noise - the biggest barrier - we engaged an acoustic engineer to design 1.8m acoustic fences and specified building materials with high STC ratings that created what we call a quiet bubble inside the industrial zone. For traffic safety, we designed a fully segregated car park with 34 spaces and distinct pedestrian pathways ensuring children had zero contact with industrial heavy vehicle movements. For stormwater, we implemented a custom management plan to handle the large roof area and car park runoff to industrial compliance standards. Every objection was answered with certified engineering evidence.
